Leading with honesty and integrity, Ingebrigtson built an extraordinary team and oversaw the construction of the bank building all the while caring for and building a client base.

“44 years is a long time. I have seen great economic times and near collapse and have been able to be a part of the incredible growth of the Sioux Falls area. Being supported by wonderful family, staff, and clients has made it a great ride,” Ingebrigtson reflected.

Throughout his career, Ingebrigtson held many leadership roles in community organizations including serving as board president for the Sioux Empire Fair and Farm Show, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, and Habitat for Humanity, where he led the largest capital campaign in their history. He has been recognized with numerous state and local awards including Agri-Business Citizen of the Year and Habitat Supporter of the Year. Ingebrigtson has been committed to supporting the growth and success of Sioux Falls and the region.

Cornerstone President and CEO Jeff Thomas said, “Evan is a true community banker and has positively impacted the lives of thousands of customers and team members over his career.  We thank Evan for his service to the Cornerstone Bank team, his customers, and the communities he has served. We wish him, his wife Pat, and their family all the best in the future.”

With Ingebrigtson’s retirement, Terry Cleberg has been named SVP Market President in Sioux Falls. He brings 34 years of banking experience. The last 26 years have been spent in Sioux Falls, holding various Business Banking leadership positions while working with businesses of various sizes, builders, developers, investment properties, and multi-family projects.

Thomas noted, “We are very excited to welcome Terry to the Cornerstone Bank team. Terry’s experience and expertise will ensure that we continue to help the people in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities achieve financial success.”

Cleberg added, “I look forward to this new chapter at Cornerstone Bank whose core values and community banking culture closely align with my own.”
